Andrew stepped into a volatile situation and managed to facilitate the common ground we were looking for. He has a knack for sifting through the rhetoric and getting to the heart of the matter.

EXECUTIVE COACH

Our Approach

We offer First Nations Chiefs and senior managers three levels of executive coaching services: full, intermediate and basic support, tailored to your circumstances. Each level includes five steps:

  • Step 1 – Assess personal and organizational goals and their compatibility
  • Step 2 – Sign a coaching agreement confirming the level of support and term of services
  • Step 3 – Develop an Executive Development Plan with clear goals that will achieve synergy between personal and organizational priorities
  • Step 4 – Deliver ongoing coaching support via phone calls, email, text, in person or videoconference
  • Step 5 – Review and update goals, achievements and your plan

Full support is designed for you if …

  • You’re a newly selected Chief or senior manager, and have some or limited experience with executive and organizational planning processes, or
  • We’ve put together a solid Executive Development Plan for you, but you face a lot of variables in your plan and circumstances.

This approach gives you six to 12 months of executive coaching to get your plan off to an excellent start. Full support clients will have:

  • Basic support services (three hours a month of individual coaching)
  • Six additional hours a month of individual coaching in phone calls, emails, text, and telephone conversations or meetings

Once you are comfortable with your circumstances, we can move to an intermediate level of support.

Intermediate support is designed for you if …

  • You don’t need full support but face unique circumstances; for example, your Executive Development Plan includes some dips into unchartered waters, where having more than basic support would be ideal, or
  • You’ve had full support for awhile, we’ve achieved some success, and now you can move forward with a little less support.

With the intermediate package, you can expect six to 12 months with:

  • Basic support (three hours a month of individual coaching)
  • Three additional hours a month of individual coaching, including:

    • Two telephone calls a month
    • Emails to help you sail through unchartered waters, with materials and suggestions that build on ideas from our telephone discussions
    • At least one written communication focused on supporting you to achieve your plan

Basic support is designed for you if …

  • You are a skilled, experienced manager and can execute your Executive Development Plan with occasional support, or
  • We’ve worked together for awhile with success and you’ve achieved the targets you set out to complete.

With this model, you’ll have three hours a month of individual coaching—mostly email, text, and periodic telephone conversations or meetings—for six to 12 months, plus support materials relevant to your role as First Nations leader or manager.

All clients will receive our Executive Coaching News bulletin with advice and tips.
